We especially appreciated your thoughtfulness and calm manner—no matter the traffic or long drives, you always made us feel safe and comfortable.

It was a pleasure to have you with us on this journey. We’ll remember not only the incredible places we visited, but also the kindness and care you showed along the way.
All of our guides were good, but we especially enjoyed the three mentioned below for the following reasons:

Jodhpur: Our guide was fascinating and extremely knowledgeable about business in India. Since he had experience in the insurance industry, he explained how businesses operate and the various rules that govern them. We found him so interesting that we invited him out for a drink to continue our discussion about being a business owner in India.

Udaipur: This guide was another highlight. He was proactive in sharing insights about local customs and culture—explaining, for example, how to tell if a Hindu woman is married, or what the black tassels on trucks signify. He constantly pointed out interesting details about daily life that enriched our understanding of India.

Pushkar: Our guide was wonderfully flexible. When we mentioned that we were mainly interested in seeing camels, he went out of his way to find them. He was also enthusiastic and engaging when showing us the Hindu temple, taking the time to explain the many nuances of what we were seeing.

In summary, while all of our guides were good, these three stood out for their initiative, depth of knowledge, and genuine effort to share insights into Indian life beyond the usual tourist commentary.
