About Satpura National Park

Satpura, in Madhya Pradesh, offers a rugged wilderness of sandstone peaks, deep ravines, gorges, and dense forests of Sal, teak, and mixed vegetation. Satpura is rich in birdlife with over 250 species, including crested serpent eagles, paradise flycatchers, Malabar whistling thrush, hornbills, and migratory waterfowl in winter. Reptiles like pythons, crocodiles, and skinks are often encountered in its diverse habitats.
