ITINERARY

  • 01 Delhi – Journey to Bandhavgarh
    • Overview

    Arrive early morning at New Delhi International Airport and transfer to your hotel for rest and refreshment.

    In the afternoon, transfer to the railway station to board the overnight train to Umaria, the nearest railhead to Bandhavgarh National Park. This comfortable overnight journey offers a glimpse into India’s vast landscapes as you travel toward the forests of central India.

  • 02 Umaria – Bandhavgarh National Park
    • Overview

    Arrive early morning at Umaria railway station where you will be received and transferred by road to Bandhavgarh National Park 

    After check-in and lunch at the wildlife resort, set out for your first jungle safari into the national park.

    Bandhavgarh’s terrain of sal forests, bamboo thickets, and open grasslands provides excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. Apart from the Royal Bengal Tiger, the park supports species such as leopard, sloth bear, spotted deer, sambar, wild boar, and a rich diversity of birdlife.

    Return to the resort by evening.

  • 03 Bandhavgarh – Tiger Tracking Safaris
    • Overview

    Today is dedicated to deep exploration of Bandhavgarh’s wilderness.

    Morning and afternoon jeep safaris take you into different zones of the park in search of tigers and other wildlife. Your specialist naturalist will interpret alarm calls, pugmarks, territorial markings, and other behavioural indicators that help track predator movement within the forest.

    Bandhavgarh is also known for its dramatic landscape dominated by an ancient hilltop fort, dense forests, and open meadows that support thriving herbivore populations.

    After the afternoon safari, transfer to Umaria railway station to board the overnight train back to Delhi.

  • 04 Delhi – Departure
    • Overview

    Arrive in Delhi in the afternoon and transfer to a hotel for wash and change.

    Evening transfer to the International Airport to board your onward flight home, carrying memories of one of India’s most iconic tiger reserves.
