ITINERARY

  • 01 Delhi
    • Overview

Arrive early morning at New Delhi International Airport. You will be received and assisted before transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, explore the historic layers of India’s capital — a city that blends Mughal grandeur and colonial architecture. Visit India Gate, the Red Fort, Raj Ghat and drive past the President’s House and other landmark government buildings of New Delhi.
Your guide will provide cultural and historical context, preparing you for the ecological contrasts that lie ahead.
    Overnight in Delhi.

  • 02 Delhi – Kolkata – Sundarbans National Park
    • Overview

Early morning transfer to the airport for flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival, proceed directly by road to the jetty to board your boat for a scenic two-hour cruise into the Sundarbans delta.
Arrive at your jungle camp on Bali Island and settle in.
In the afternoon, begin your first exploratory cruise through narrow creeks and tidal channels toward Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower. This region offers opportunities to observe spotted deer, wild boar, estuarine crocodiles, raptors and — with patience and luck — the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.
Return to camp by evening. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

  • 03 Sundarbans National Park – Mangrove Predator Habitat
    • Overview

Today is dedicated to deep exploration of the Sundarbans — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest mangrove ecosystem.
Cruise toward the Netidhopani watch tower, an area known for tiger movement and exceptional birdlife. Your specialist naturalist will interpret animal behaviour, tidal influences, and the unique adaptations of wildlife living in this amphibious forest.
Lunch will be served onboard to maximise time in the field.
Return to camp by late afternoon. In the evening, a brief local cultural presentation by villagers offers insight into life on the edge of tiger territory.
Dinner and overnight at the Resort / Jungle Lodge

  • 04 Sundarbans – Kolkata – Guwahati – Kaziranga
    • Overview

Early morning transfer by boat back to the jetty, followed by drive to Kolkata airport to connect with your flight to Guwahati (or Jorhat, depending on schedule).
Upon arrival, drive to Kaziranga National Park — home to the world’s largest population of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros.
Evening at leisure to rest before the next phase of your wildlife exploration.
Overnight at the lodge near Kaziranga.

  • 05 Kaziranga – Forest Edge & Tribal Landscapes
    • Overview

Early morning nature walk along the buffer forests, focusing on primate and birdlife. Possibilities include the rare Hoolock Gibbon, capped langur, and several hornbill species.
    Return for breakfast.
In the afternoon, visit nearby tribal villages or explore tea gardens that define Assam’s cultural landscape. Your guide will discuss the human–wildlife interface and conservation efforts in the region.
    Overnight at the lodge.

  • 06 Kaziranga National Park – Rhinoceros & Grassland Safari
    • Overview

Early morning jeep safari into one of Kaziranga’s ranges, exploring its vast elephant grasslands and wetlands.
